We have just got rid of half hour squad, there must be something else lined up although Harry says otherwise.

If you remember this time last year Harry also left the Spurs Lodge then while Daniel Levy lined himself up a certain Rafael Van der Vaart behind the sceens.

Cahill deal has fallen through, his price will drop in January now and he will end up at Arsenal, it’s the price we pay for leaving it until the last minute every time.

We have made over £30m this window with the sales of Crouch, Palacios, O’Hara, Hutton, Keane plus we look to have got Jenas and Bentley off the wage bill for a year. I am not convinced that Levy isn’t still working late to tie up a deal or is it just wishful thinking on my part?

Redknapp on SSN said the Cahill deal has fallen through which means the club have pulled the plug on the on Bassong to QPR deal.

Gary Cahill was thought to be close but it’s suspected the clubs couldn’t agree a fee. No Cahill which is a shame as we need a bit more quality at the back.

Harry revealed that Chelsea came in yesterday with a massive £40m offer for Luka Modric but Daniel Levy stood firm and rejected the offer for the Croatian who he said all along would not be leaving the club.

Redknapp also said that they tried to hook a big signing but it got away, quashing rumours that Kaka was on his way. Harry was then interrupted by Levy calling him on the phone…..

Is Harry telling the truth or is Levy still working to make something happen?

As I said in my last post, something special was happening at Spurs Lodge, SSN are assuming it’s Kaka and the bookmakers have slashed his odds dramatically.

Kaka could be on his way to Spurs in a loan deal.

Could this be too good to be true?

Basically I am thinking that if we let Bassong go and don’t end up with Cahill then we will be very light in the center half department.

Below is a chat box for you guys to get involved and below that is a stream of SSN for you to watch the final couple of hours. Enjoy

Well, where to start? I guess we will look at the players that are coming into the club or that are linked to a move to Spurs at least.

We know by now that the Scott Parker deal is done, if you didn’t know that where have you been for the past few hours, go away and never return! Gary Cahill is the man who Spurs fans have their eyes on now. Spurs sources say that the move has hit a bit of a snag and is rated at 50/50. Cahill would be great for us, exactly what we need to tighten up at the back.

Players going out, Aston Villa have reportedly made a loan offer for Jermaine Jenas (I know I wish it was permanent too but I can’t help that). West Ham have loaned David Bentley for the rest of the season. Bassong could be on his way to QPR although I doubt he will go anywhere if we can’t clinch the Cahill deal. Palacios and Crouch are heading to Stoke, the Palacios side of things is all done but as Stoke wanted the double transfer it all depends on whether Crouchy takes the move or not otherwise the deal will need to be renegotiated just for Palacios but it looks as though Crouchy has agreed to join so expect an announcement soon. Alan Hutton is the subject of a £4m move to Fulham and Villa and has left the Scotland training camp to talk to Aston Villa.

So it finally looks like we are shifting the deadwood and if we can clinch the Cahill deal that will give us a new defender, a midfielder in Parker and a forward in Adebayor.

I’ve just got in from work and I have seen some great rumours regarding our beloved Spurs, most will probably be a load of bull but they excite me none the less and give me a good old laugh.

Some of the more credible transfer stories today are the ones we all know, Scott Parker which is now done, Gary Cahill at the club seems to be another. Jenas going to Villa is now gathering pace. Crouch & Palacios on their way out and possible Hutton too. It’s all happening at the Lane today and of course there’s Luka Modric, will he, won’t he. Chelsea have now reportedly offered cash plus Malouda, not a bad player but I wouldn’t pay money to see him alone.

Some of the less credible stories involve Mario Balotelli on his way to White Hart Lane, can’t see there being any truth in that but surely Harry & Levy have something up their sleeve this time. Arteta at White Hart Lane as well is another and to be fair my mate who works in the Sky Sports News studio text me bright and early this morning and said Arteta is on his way to London although I expect that it would be more for a move to Arsenal if anything.

Transfer Deadline day, better than Christmas lads?

Scott Parker deal is now completed Sky Sports News have just confirmed.

It comes as no surprise after West Ham announced they had given Parker permission to talk to Tottenham a couple of days ago. Redknapp has been chasing Parker since West Ham’s relegation and has made no secret of his admiration for the player.

West Ham tried to convince Scott Parker to stay but he then handed in a transfer request to push through his move to Tottenham and give up his loyalty bonus to seal his move back to the Premiership.

SSN reporting that Villa could possibly be making a deadline day move for Jermaine Jenas after missing out on Joe Cole who joined French champions Lille.

Jenas is one of those who has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and following the imminent arrival of Scott Parker would be happy to leave Spurs if a club comes in for him today as he knows his chances will be few and far between. Aston Villa could be that club.
