We are now 2 days away from our massive game away at City. If we win we go 2 points behind them and really put ourselves up there as challengers for the title for the first time in 50 years.

Early team news is sort of obvious as Harry will blindly stick to what he has all season:
Friedel
Walker Dawson Kaboul Assou-Ekotto
Lennon ShittyParker Modric Bale
Van Der Vaart Pavlyuchenko

Despite this i really think that Harry should change things for this game. Adebayor is inelligible and I cannot see him having 2 midgets up front. Defensivelyi think we are very strong but I think City are much better when it comes to the front six:
LENNON-milner
shittyparker-DE JONG
modric-SILVA
BALE-barry
van der vaart-BALOTELLI
defoe-AGUERO

We will struggle in the centre of midfield as parker and modric will be unable to cope with the city 3. I would like to see Harry try 433 to combat them

Walker Dawson Kaboul BAE
Livermore Shittyparker Modric
Lennon Defoe Bale

That pace up front would worry City and the 3 in midfield couyld directly combat citys with parker free to kick silva and get booked after a few minutes proceed to give the ball away and later get sent off. The team can then form up for a 441 formation when this happens. Slightly pessimistic and i would like to hear what people think of the 433 formation. Also any predictions
City 3-0 Spurs (with vdv)

Tottenham go into Thursdays match v Shamrock Rovers after winning our last three and with an out of form Arsenal coming up on Sunday I wondered what kind of squad should play in this game

Should we try to keep some momentum going and play a strong-ish team or should we go as we have in the last 2 games in the Europa League and play the kids?

Personally I believe we should continue to give the kids a chance as some of them have shown real promise especially Tom Carroll and Andros Townsend. I think we should line up as:

Cudicini
Walker Corluka Bassong Assou-Ekotto
Falque Livermore Parrett Carroll
Kane Giovani

Gomes, Kaboul, Luongo, Nicholson, Lancaster, Pavlyuchenko, Fredericks

Give the kids a chance and if one of them proves to be a decent player it saves the club money and the fans prefer homegrown players too.
What do you think?

Hearing all the rumours about Hutton and Naughton made me wonder who should be right back next season?
Hutton
Kaboul
Naughton
Corluka
Walker

Personally I would like to see walker as right back and sell Charlie and Naughton. most likely though Hutton will go not Corluka. just wondered what people thought?

Hutton is hit and miss, good at going forward but not so good at the back. Corluka is a decent defender but has a serious lack of pace as we witnessed against Arsenal when Walcott exposed him. Kaboul never lets us down either at right back or in the middle and is definately worth holding on to. Walker looks very promising indeed at defending and exceptional at getting forward.

Thoughts?
