‘It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.’ A famous quote by the legend that is Bill Nicholson and one that is so true and still stands true to Spurs fans 50 years later.

No doubt we are all raring to go for today’s clash with Chelsea, Harry has to get it right today, he gave a couple of players a rest against Norwich on Monday for this one and it cost us. There needs to be belief through the team, look at Everton yesterday and after they scored they decided to let Liverpool have the initiative…. Big mistake and one I hope we don’t make should we take a precious lead today as another cliché that is true in football is the best form of defence is attack.

We have waited so long to get back into an FA Cup Final, 1991 was our last and that’s shocking for a club the size of ours. Since then we have suffered Semi Final heartache to Arsenal, Everton Newcastle and Portsmouth but today things are going to be different, I have a feeling that today we will put the ghosts to bed.

Let’s have some predictions and feelings for today’s match…. Like the Carling Cup Final of 2008 I am going for a 2-1 win for Spurs after extra time.
