SPURS 3-2 FIORENTINA : Pre Season Result …..

For those of you who didn’t manage to catch the game live, I’ve managed to find a few decent videos of todays goals from our 3-2 victory over Italian side Fiorentina in our final major pre-season match before next weekends big kick-off.

After going 1 down early on, Gio capitalised on a defensive error in the Italian back line before squaring to Roman Pavlyuchenko to tap home the first equaliser of the game.

Our opponents then took advantage of some sloppy defending on our part to go in at half time 2-1 up when Adem Ljajic volleyed home from 12 yards, but the second half belonged to Spurs with Robbie Keane finding the back of the net from a Tom Huddlestone through ball to notch up his first of the afternoon.

With 89 minutes on the clock and a draw the likely result, Keane ensured the victory with a well taken third, his second of the match. Substitute Jake Livermore finding the Irishman with a great through ball ….. the finish almost identical to his first.

1-0 Fiorentina

1-1 Pavlyuchenko

2-1 Fiorentina

2-2 Keane

3-2 Keane Winner !!!

  1. Thanks mate. Much appreciated. I managed to get home in time to catch the last 15 minutes.
    COYS !!

  2. GIO,GIO.

  3. Thanks mate, like the way they are broken down into individual goals.

  4. Nice vids pal,not really liking the pony music that kicked in though!

  5. Gio is looking the goods! And I have always said and will continue to say, let’s hold on to Keano. Both players showed us great skills today. Bring on Man City!

  6. Could this be the transfer window that leaves us full of regrets. We have Liverpool chasing Crouch at 6ft7 a man who can score vital goals and does a lot of work with flicks and a fair bit of skill on the ground . This shows me there has bean a bit of courting in the World cup camp by Gerrard and Carragher and shows me they are treating Spurs like a small club who have robbed there place at the top table . This is because Harry and Jamie are always praising them but what i learned three seasons ago about there methods for winning games and why they got nicknamed the comeback Kings and Duracell bunnies . This meant any respect i had disappeared , they now have a manager that will carry on there nickname because his old team where no different and also played with a high energised tempo game Our next big mistake could be . Keano he lost is place in the Hearts and minds of some of our fans when he went to is so called Boyhood club but the real reason is the religious ..connection between Liverpooland Celtic is the real reason he went and for Medals he got none . We all make mistakes its how you mend them that makes you a man and gets respect back from your adoring fans . He has my respect and always will have and i hope Harrys latest statement he has also got respect for him ans wont sell him. The lad Gio has all the skill to make him a Spurs hero if he gets and takes his chances at the moment he is doing both but will Harry trust him when it matters and if we buy new players will he be pushed further down the order this will be Harrys problem and fans clambering for more signings .Taarabt has left and QPR fans have a lad who can be brilliant one min and stupid the next enjoy the good parts there special. Bostock showed me what i stated on other sites he could have saved Harry a few Million if he trusted him to play in our friendly s with better players than he is with now i feel he is wasting 12 months we should be enjoying like Arsenal will with Wiltshire. Yes this could be a bad Transfer for the ones who leave not the ones we sign in Harry we Trust fingers crossed..

  7. That looks like the old robbie keane who could get us goals from anywhere, great to see him back and on target!
