Article sent to me by James Moore, wanted me to publish this and I thought it worthy whatever the reviews it gets. I consider it important for other fans to have their say, so if you have an article you wish to write in future feel free to send it to me to be published on this site.

I have thought a lot about the current (p*ss poor) Gallas situation at Spurs and to summarise the way I see it I now have 2 options as follows:

Option 1- Completely laugh off supporting Spurs forever.

Plus points:
We would never have to watch that utter utter utter idiot in a Spurs shirt.
None of our hard earned wages would ever go into that ex Chelsea/Arsenal, greed ridden, prima donna example of what’s wrong with football tw*t’s pocket.
We would never have to go through any other typical Spurs complete let down/bad performances ever again.
We could attend Leyton Orient games instead.
We would have stood our ground and made our point completely.

Bad points:
We would miss one of the most exciting games ever tomorrow.
We could potentially miss a good season?
We would never be able to go down Bill Nick again.
It would significantly reduce the amount of ‘boys own’ time and subsequent good laughs/away trips etc available.
We would have to watch Leyton Orient.
The chances of playing some classic Spurs songs at my wedding would be greatly reduced through fear of hypocrisy.

Option 2 – Try to forget about this disgraceful incident and carry on as before.

Plus points:
We wouldn’t miss one of the most exciting games ever tomorrow.
We wouldn’t potentially miss a good season.
We would continue to go down Bill Nick.
Increase significantly the potential for more good laughs/away trips etc available.
That ex Chelsea/Arsenal, greed ridden, prima donna example of what’s wrong with football should only be here for one season?

Bad points:
We would have to watch that utter utter utter idiot in a Spurs shirt.
Some of our hard earned wages would go into that ex Chelsea/Arsenal, greed ridden, prima donna example of what’s wrong with football tw*t’s pocket.
We would never have to go through any other typical Spurs complete let down/bad performances ever again!!  it just wouldn’t be the same would it….

Welcome your thoughts….

  1. A bit of a bsic opinion I think,

Would you prefer to leave bassong in charge of marking Drogba? Torres? Tevez? Van Persie? or someone whos had experience of dealing with them all?

  2. 110% behind the Gallas deal = fantastic pieve of business for us.

Not only does he offer us experience, he can play well at DC and WB/FB R.

Moreover; Bassong, Kaboul & BAE will know this guy well. Native French speakers who will learn a lot from him.

    Win win for us.

Disheartened that some people are narrow minded enough not to see this 🙁

  3. Ok listen this is how it is. No matter what feelings you have , we need to trust Harry Billy is here and that is how it is. So we support him and anyone else on the pitch. Any negativity will only be detrimental to the team so all you haters bite your lip, suck it up and support the team like you should do. Biggest in game in fcking years is tomorrow any braindead numpties that try jeporadise our approach & team spirit is a plank end of story. Stop posting crap like this the man is here now just deal with it like an adult.

    COYS

  4. utter drivel – id advise against posting randoms articles if they are narrow minded.

Its onei-up on Arsenal – simple. Like sleeping with your enemy’s misses – exciting, weird, different. To m it adds a new dimension to what must be one of the best derby games in the world.

Lets get behind him and Spurs

  5. To be honest i hope the author of this piece takes option 1, one less idiot at the Lane. COYS.

  6. Jeeeeez! The vitriol this (absolutely fantastic) Gallas signing is evoking is just jaw-dropping. And, I bet none of these Gallas-hating folks have ever met him, before. I don’t know what to say.

  7. He could of gone anywhere, but he wanted to come to us,fair enough he played for Arsenal, who gives a monkeys,if he puts the white shirt on we all love,we need to get behind him and the team,he is experienced in the champions league and won the premiership, that has to be good news, that we can attract winners at our club

  8. I couldn’t care less were they come from, when they put the SPURS shirt on and give 100% for Tottenham, and they are good, as we all know that he is, that’s all that matters to me. Personally i am not exactly a fan of his because of his attitude, but as a player, he is good, and will allways do his best for his team, and that’s what we are looking for.He is allready talking positively for the season! Let’s hope he does the job that Harry brought him in for.

  9. if you are a true spurs supporter, you will follow the team whatever.
if we keep clean sheets with gallas in the team and he makes the last goal line stop to gain the points, then it can only be a good signing and in harry and danial we trust.
we also no that if it all goes belly up and he doesn’t gell,he will find himself down the pecking order, with the size of team we have.
    like harry says ‘no brainer’

  10. I thought it was a horrible horrible joke when the story first starting circulating, but as it grew and I thought about it, it does make perfect sense. Am I pleased to see Gallas in lillywhite not overly? am I going to support him till i lose my voice? abso-fu*king-lutley!! the same way I cheer on JJ or Kaboul before he left the first time.
I love spurs! and all who play for them (except maybe ghaly?)

  11. As harry says ” It,s a no brainer ” Gallas has won championships , played in the champions league his experence can only be good for the team, . As j diesel says I love spurs , We have suffered so many false dawns this time i really believe we are on the verge of something BIG , So lets just trust in harry he aint done to bad has he! COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Stop being dramatic lol.
If he was really all about his ‘pocket’. he wouldn’t have signed for us!!!
He chose to stay in London. Nothing more, nothing less.

Gallas could go to ANY of the richer European clubs (Man City seem to have a fetish for ex-Arsenal players – Anelka, Quinn, Kolo Toure., Adebayor, Vieira…) for as much money as he wanted (80/90k per week), instead, out of convenience OVER money, he chose Spurs for 60k a week.
